7.11.09 "Kokeshi" at The Japanese American National Museum, Los Angeles, CA.
It is an honor and pleasure to announce my participation in this Kokeshi exhibit
curated by Christina Conway. 1OO Artists were invited to present their version of a
kokeshi doll. The public opening will be on July 11, 2009 till October from 11AM to 5pm.

Willem Kerseboom Gallery will have 3 of my paintings at Art Amsterdam held at the
Amsterdam RAI in Amsterdam, Holland on May 13-17, 2009. These pieces will then travel
to their gallery for an exhibition entitled, "The World a Cartoon" in a group show
opening in June.

5.9.09 "Scion Installation Five" at The Showroom NYC <view my NYC memoirs here>
Dear NYC, you were wonderful. The ups and downs, ins and outs. You are a siren and I
cannot resist my love for you. Those words reflect my trip in a nut shell. I arrived on
Thursday, May 7 at 7AM, toured my habitat, fled an evening show by Scion at The
Showroom NYC to drink with new friends. There was a fight scene in the train, drooling
amongst the modern art legends in Chelsea, ramen, ice cream, gyro, pizza, and birthday
cake (my friend turned 30-ish), a neighbor's suicide...
